About Domaine Coteau
Domaine Coteau sources fruit exclusively from organic vineyards across California. Albariño and Sangiovese come from River's Edge / Vista Luna in Lodi's Borden Ranch & Clements Hills AVA. Grenache Gris and Albariño arrive from Rorick Heritage Vineyard in Calaveras County Sierra Foothills at approximately 2,000 feet elevation. The Sangiovese draws from Venturi Vineyard in Mendocino's Calpella Valley, planted in 1992 and dry-farmed since 1994, farmed organically and CCOF Certified. White wines are whole-cluster pressed and cold-settled for 48–96 hours before racking. Red wines are selectively de-stemmed with typically 10 to 20 percent whole cluster. The 2025 Albariño and 2025 Albariño Amber, both California Vin de Soif, retail for $26. The 2024 Venturi Vineyard Sangiovese retails for $30.
