About Mona Rose Winery, LLC
Kurt Schoenick founded Mona Rose Winery in Green Bay in 2013, naming it after his wife Monica Rose. Winemaker Craig Fletcher oversees a portfolio of 27 plus varietal wines drawn from California's San Joaquin River Valley, sourcing grapes from Lodi, Woodbridge, Merced, Modesto, Solano, and Visalia. The program spans Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Muscat, Riesling, and Chardonnay, with notable releases including Peach on a Beach, Big Red, and Super Tuscan. The cellar has earned 19 international medals. On site, the fermentation room opens to public viewing. The tasting room features a hand-crafted pallet bar and pairs wines with specialty cheeses and fine chocolates. Private tastings and parties are available by appointment in the Barrel Room.
