Mößlinger

About

Stratzing, in the Kremstal, holds a family operation that spans generations. The Mösslinger agricultural business took root in the 1950s. Christian Mösslinger, after training in wine and fruit cultivation at the Krems school, took over the family business. Today, Christian and Georg Mösslinger tend approximately 10 hectares, drawing Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Roter Veltliner, Müller Thurgauer, Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, Blauer Zweigelt, and Blauer Burgunder from the vineyard. The cellar produces Zweigelt Klassik aged in steel tank and Zweigelt Barrique aged in 220-liter barrique barrel. The house also operates a Heurigen, a wine tavern established in 1992.
