McConnell Estates Winery

McConnell Estates Winery in Elk Grove operates as a farm-to-glass estate, where every step of production happens on the property just north of the Cosumnes River. Founded in 2001 and owned by the Wackman Family for six generations, the winery produces more than 20 estate-grown wines. The portfolio includes Vino Dolce, a sweet white wine, the Late Harvest Zinfandel 6 Gen Zin, Legacy, a fortified dessert wine, and fruit sangrias in Lemon Vanilla Bean and Strawberry Kiwi. The tasting room welcomes visitors without reservation, with food available and outdoor seating and a picnic area on site. Wine Club members receive curated allocations four times yearly in March, June, September, and December. Sangria Club members receive three allocations annually in April, June, and August.
