About Mccollister Estate Vineyard

Dan and Kelly McCollister began their wine journey in 2012, making wine in New Jersey starting in 2014. They planted their home vineyard in Southampton Township in 2019, then launched a Napa project in 2020 with fruit from Howell Mountain. The first vintage from both coasts arrived in 2021, the same year McCollister Estate Vineyard was founded. Maayan Koschitzky stewards the Napa work. The New Jersey vineyard now holds more than 4,000 vines across Poppy Vineyard and Primrose Vineyard, with Bella Vineyard being planted in spring. Soil testing in 2022 confirmed the absence of phylloxera. The program produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Riesling.
