About
Mari's wine cellar is a small family marani in the town of Sighnaghi, Kakheti, run by the owner and her husband. Wine is poured straight out of the qvevri and served with chacha and churchkhela. One visitor's tasting covered a dry orange Rkatsiteli, a white Kisi from the qvevri, a Kindzmarauli and two qvevri Saperavi. The family wine tradition is traced back to the owner's grandmother.
