About Marie & Olivier Horiot
Les Riceys, in the Champagne region, is home to Marie and Olivier Horiot, who founded their house in 2000. Still wines, including Rosé des Riceys and Coteaux Champenois, have been produced since 2000. Since 2004, vintage Champagnes under the Olivier Horiot brand have joined the portfolio, aged in oak barrels for one year on fine lees with stirring. The Serge Horiot line, named for Olivier's father who was co-founder of the local cooperative, produces Champagne Brut Tradition and Champagne Cuvée Prestige. The vineyard is 75 percent Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay at 10 percent, Pinot Blanc at 5 percent, Arbane at 3 percent, Pinot Meunier at 3 percent, Petit Meslier at 2 percent, and Pinot Gris at 2 percent.
