About
Three hillsides, three terroirs. One faces full south with very clayey soil. Another faces north on Kimmeridgian marns. The third slopes south onto a Portlandian fault. Brocard Pierre works across this geology in Celles-sur-Ource, drawing single cépages from each hillside to shape eight named cuvées. Dits-Lieux, Aube Saline, Contrée Noire, L'Égarée, Saignée de la Côte, Absimilis, Coteaux Rouge, Coteaux Blanc. The program favors long aging on lees, building roasted and brioche aromas into the work. Tastings by appointment Thursday mornings.
