Maison Léon Baur has been making wine in Eguisheim since 1738, now in its ninth generation under Jean-Louis Baur and Caroline Baur. Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir are produced, including the Riesling Grand Cru Eichberg 2017. Wines are aged in wooden vats in old cellars located beneath the ramparts of the town. The tasting room opens Monday through Sunday, 10 to 12 and 13.30 to 18.30.
