About

Five generations deep in Straß im Straßertale, Maglock-Nagel tends 15 hectares across four named vineyard sites in the Kamptal. Gaisberg features kargen Gneisboden in the upper section and a thin Löss layer in the lower part. Rosengartl has a Löss layer of 6 meters or more. The program centers on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, with Weißburgunder, Frühroter Veltliner, St. Laurent, and Zweigelt in the portfolio. Selective hand harvest feeds the cellar. Entry-level and vineyard-designated wines are vinified in steel tanks. Reserve wines are partially aged in small wooden barrels. Tastings require advance reservation.
