About Lone Oak Vineyard & Winery LLC

Lone Oak Vineyard & Winery opened in 2009 in Hastings, Minnesota, under the Kopec family's direction. The program centers on cold-hardy varietals, Marquette, Frontenac, Marechal Foch, and Swenson, each appearing across the portfolio in distinct expressions. Seven Blessings white and Prairie Sunset semi-sweet white anchor the lighter side. The cellar work includes Oak Barrel Reserve, aged 24 months in French oak, and Bourbon Barrel Red, finished 60 days in bourbon barrels. Whole Cluster blends 35% Marquette with 65% Frontenac. Sparkling Rosé marries 80% Swenson and 20% Marquette. The Marquette Star dessert wine earned silver at the 2021 International CC Wine Competition. The tasting room opens Friday and Saturday, 1 to 6 PM, with pizza service Friday 4 to 6 PM and Saturday 1 to 6 PM. A picnic area is available.
