Lagazi Wine Cellar is a family winery founded in 2013 in the village of Zemo Alvani, Akhmeta Municipality, Kakheti region, beside the Alazani River. It practices traditional qvevri winemaking and works to revive production from forgotten indigenous grape varieties, and is a member of the Natural Wine Association. Visitors can be introduced to traditional qvevri winemaking methods, taste natural wine, and enjoy a lunch of traditional Georgian dishes.
