About Babaneuris Marani
Babaneuris Marani is a vineyard, winery and boutique hotel in Babaneuri village, Akhmeta Municipality, Kakheti, in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus range. Wines are fermented and aged in qvevri, the traditional buried earthenware amphorae used in Georgia for over 8,000 years, from four grape varieties (Saperavi, Mtsvane, Kisi and Rkatsiteli) grown on 11 hectares. The property offers cellar tours explaining qvevri winemaking, seasonal grape-picking, a restaurant and a 13-room hotel.
