Palavani is a historic winery in Kistauri village, Kakheti, with vineyards dating to 1743 under King Erekle II of Kartli-Kakheti; the estate was revived in 1995 by Anzor Kibrotsashvili and passed to a new generation in 2012. The 120-hectare estate grows Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, and Mtsvane, combining traditional qvevri methods with large-scale modern production, and has used biodynamic farming since 2020.
