About La Mirandola
La Mirandola was founded in 2000 within the Chianti Classico production zone in Toscana. Lorenzo Scala and Luano Bensi lead the program across a portfolio that includes Picus and the estate's namesake Chianti Classico DOCG, both made from Sangiovese and joined by Colorino in the Riserva. Cabernet and Merlot enter the blend in Buteo and Rosso dei Templari, both IGT Toscana Rosso. The cellar also holds Mirandolino, a white wine labeled Vino Bianco Biologico, and Suavis, a rosé made from Sangiovese. Vineyard care is done mostly by hand. Wine tasting experiences are available.
