About Casale dello Sparviero
Casale dello Sparviero sits in lower Castellina in Chianti, between Monteriggioni and Florence, within Chianti Classico DOCG boundaries. The estate began as a monastery, later became a farm, and has been managed by the Andrighetti family for generations across more than eight centuries of wine production. In 2016, the estate began its formal process toward organic wine certification. From the 2019 harvest forward, production has been entirely organic. The program includes six guest apartments and wine tours that include tastings of extra virgin olive oil, honey, and local food products.
