About La Chiripada Winery
New Mexico's oldest winery, La Chiripada works in terracotta. The Amphora program ferments Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon on wild yeast, then ages each for eight months in 420-liter vessels thrown from single pieces of 1000-pound clay, US-made. Sorpresa Blanca rounds the portfolio. The wine club requires no membership fee, only a twelve-month commitment of twenty-four bottles delivered in six-bottle shipments every three months. Members receive twenty percent off additional purchases.
