About La Cà Nova

La Cà Nova traces its roots to the seventeenth century in Cella Monte, among the Monferrato hills of Alessandria. The Gazzone family, Counts of Valmacca and Rosignano, held the property from 1700 onward. Beneath the estate lies an Infernot, a hand-excavated chamber carved from Pietra da Cantoni stone with a circular floor plan, completed in 1881. The agriturismo itself opened in 2013 following renovation. In the early 2000s, livestock was raised in addition to wine production. In 2024, the property became an officially registered Educational Farm.
