Penn Yan, New York. Twenty acres across two vineyards planted in 2014 and 2016. Kemmeter Wines began in 2014 and shifted entirely to estate fruit from vintage 2018 forward, building a program around Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Rosé of Pinot Noir. The Kemmeter label, a non-vintage Pinot Noir cellared between 10 and 15 years, anchors the house. Sonero Riesling, Sonero Rosé of Pinot Noir, and Dry Riesling One Note round out the core. A second label, SanSan, holds wines expected to age well for up to two decades and beyond. Food is available at the winery.
