About Kellner
Kellner has been making wine in Pulkau since 1684, at the foot of the Manhartsberges in the western Weinviertel. Matthias Kellner leads the program today, working with Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Weißburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, Zweigelt, and Blütenmuskateller. The cellar runs on modern technology. In the vineyard, no glyphosate is used and growth is removed mechanically. A recycling system on the plant protection equipment cuts usage by up to 40% each year. The Weinterrasse Pulkau tasting room opens onto vineyard views, serving regional food and warm dishes alongside the wines.
