Kazayak-Vin, a Moldovan-French enterprise founded in 1997, occupies land where a wine factory stood since 1958. The vineyard sits at the same latitude as Bordeaux, in Valul lui Traian. White geese patrol the rows for pest control. Grapes arrive at harvest with sugar content between 24 to 26 percent. Italian Bertolazo equipment processes the fruit.
