About

Kautz has worked the Weinviertel since 1898, five generations deep in the same soil. Vineyards blanket the entire cadastral municipality of Zistersdorf, from south-facing slopes to mineral loess hilltops to cooler forest edges. Natural loess runs through it all. The fifth generation recently took the helm, steering a program that marries traditional craftsmanship with uncompromising quality and futuristic processing.
