About

Kapitel Zwei Wine launched in 2024 in Krems an der Donau, where a former corporate communications director spent three years studying viticulture and wine business before bottling the first vintage on 31 August 2024. The vineyard, Kremsleithen, sat abandoned for decades until Chenin Blanc, Roussanne, and Sémillon from France were planted in May 2022, grown organically alongside rented old Riesling vines from a neighboring site. The house ages its wines in amphora. By 2026, the program plans to graft heritage Grüner Veltliner to Chenin Blanc.
