About Indian Island Winery
Indian Island Winery grew from Winterhaven Vineyard and Nursery, established in spring of 2000 in Janesville, Minnesota. The family operation, owned by Ray and Lisa Winter alongside their children Angie and Tom and daughter-in-law Angela, tends over 12 acres and more than 6000 vines across 17 different grape varieties. Angie leads the winemaking program with Frontenac, LaCrescent, Marquette, St. Croix, and Brianna. The tasting room offers food and outdoor seating. Live music runs every Friday and Saturday night, plus Sunday afternoons through the summer months.
