About
9 Mile Corner Vineyard sits in Eagle Lake, Minnesota, where cold climate hybrid grapes thrive. St. Pepin, Frontenac Blanc, Frontenac Gris, Itasca, Louise Swenson, Marquette, Frontenac, and St. Croix are produced from the vineyard's own grapes, bred to survive Minnesota winters. All fruit stays local. The Itasca vines, now seven years old, earned silver at the 2021 International Cold Climate Wine Competition and gold in 2022. Kilkenny Red, the Marquette wine, took bronze in 2023. The oaked Frontenac won silver in 2024. The tasting room opens Friday 3 to 8pm, Saturday 1 to 8pm, and Sunday noon to 5pm.
