Auersthal's HuM Hofer Ottendorfer has practiced organic viticulture for over 20 years, working the Weinviertel with Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Weißburgunder. The house makes ORIGIN, an orange wine from Weißburgunder at 11.5% alcohol that won Grand Gold at Organic Wine Award International 2022 and Gold at NÖ Wein 2023. The program also includes alcohol-free wines, Freeberg 0% and Easy Red 0%. A tasting room operates Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 18:00, by reservation.
