About
Christina Hugl works in Langenlois, in Austria's Kamptal region, making sparkling and still wines across a range of varietals. Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Traminer, Neuburger, Weißburgunder, and Welschriesling form the portfolio. The house produces Pet-Nat wines, including organic expressions. The Langenlois Grosse Reserve 2019, a blend of Weißburgunder and Welschriesling from Ried Schöntal, spent five years on the lees after traditional bottle fermentation. The tasting room charges €4 per sample, or offers complimentary tastings with purchases of €250 or more per person.
