About Home Range Winery
Home Range Winery sits at Flatbrook Farm in Canaan, situated at the east edge of the Hudson Valley and the west edge of the Berkshires. Eleven years of selection led to a portfolio built on American hybrids vetted by Cornell for this climate. Cayuga, Traminette, Isabella, Steuben, Fredonia, Chancellor, and Marquette form the backbone, joined by fruit wines drawn from farm raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Wallhanger blends Chancellor and Fredonia equally. Duke's Regale and Coldsnap anchor the fruit program in raspberry and blueberry. Bartlett's Perry offers pear as dessert. Bottles run $27 to $32. Tastings are four samples for $16.
