Holzreiter

About

Holzreiter has been a family operation in Großwetzdorf since 1895, when founder Michael Holzreiter began producing wines in an abandoned castle cellar. Today, winemaker Michael Holzreiter works only with grapes from the estate vineyards. The program centers on Rivaner and Welschriesling, each aged in vessels chosen for the varietal. Stainless steel, oak, acacia, and barrique barrels are used for individual varietals. The 2025 releases include Rivaner, Welschriesling, Weinviertel DAC, and Lollipop. For Vienna and surrounding areas, orders of 24 bottles or more qualify for free home delivery on Wednesdays.
