Hardwick Vineyard & Winery sits on 150 acres along a quiet country road that winds around the Quabbin Reservoir. Founded in 1997, the operation centers on a restored 1795 mansion, the Giles E. Warner house, a nearly five-year undertaking. A 5,000-square-foot timber frame barn, built with mortise and tenon joints, anchors the cellar work. Dilly Vino, a crisp dry white infused with dill pickle flavor, shares shelf space with Midnight Blackberry, a semi-dry red, and Wickedly Watermelon, a semi-sweet white. Wine tastings, flights, and slushees flow year round, alongside live music and events.
