About
Haras de Pirque sits on 100 hectares in the Maipo Valley. Eduardo Matte acquired the estate in 1991. Marchese Piera Antinori discovered it in 2001, and since 2003 the two families have operated a 50/50 partnership, AM. The vineyards grow Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Albis, the flagship, blends 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% Carménère from 30 dedicated hectares, capped at 10,000 cases. The portfolio spans entry-level Equs through Haras Character and Haras Elegance, plus Hussonet Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay from Casablanca, Sauvignon Blanc from Leyda, and Pitío from Maipo.
