About Georgian Vine Foundation
The Georgian Vine Foundation, founded in 2011, is dedicated to multiplying and popularizing Georgian vine varieties, operating a vineyard near the village of Bakurtsikhe, Gurjaani Municipality, Kakheti, at 500 meters elevation south of the Alazani River. It has produced natural wines since 2014 from Kahkuri Mtsvane, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi, and Kisi across 35 hectares, without harmful herbicides or pesticides, and has been a Georgian Natural Wine Association member since 2017. It is imported in the U.S. by Terrell Wines.
