Fields Family Vineyards & Winery in Acampo works in small lots, handcrafted and minimalist. The portfolio spans Grenache Blanc, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Vermentino, Grenache Noir, and Syrah, drawn from Mokelumne River AVA and Mule Plane Vineyard. The 2023 Mourvèdre and Carignan arrive hand-picked early, native yeast fermented in half-ton macro bins, unfined and unfiltered. The 2024 Estate Grenache Blanc, 65 cases at $25, and 2023 Vermentino, also 65 cases at $25, anchor the white program. The 2024 Elysian Fields blends 55 percent Grenache Blanc with 45 percent Vermentino at $25. A tasting room welcomes visitors, and the winery is dog friendly.
