About

William Carson brings together Lodi's winegrowing capabilities with the spirit of Štajerska, Slovenia's wine region, across white and red varietals. The 2022 Torrontes Riojano and 2023 Grüner Veltliner anchor the whites. The reds include a 2022 Old Vine Carignane from Nicolini Vineyard, planted in 1930, and a 2022 Old Vine Zinfandel from Wegat Vineyard at 16.0% alcohol. The 2022 Grenache Rosé was fermented on skins, barrel aged for 10 months, and finished dry. The cellar also works with Albariño, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Montepulciano, Mourvèdre, Peloursin, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The tasting room opens Thursday through Monday, 11am to 5pm, and welcomes dogs.
