Familie Gorth

About

Familie Gorth tends 1.7 hectares across three Traismauer Rieden, Galgenleithen, Hühnerkropf, and Zachling. Johann, Christine, Katharina, and Alexander shape the program. Hand-harvested grapes become Grüner Veltliner as Traisental DAC, alongside Weißburgunder and Gelber Muskateller in still and Frizzante versions. Zweigelt Rosé and Blauer Zweigelt complete the portfolio. The family has run a Heurigen for over 50 years, opening annually from August 13–26 at 4 PM, where regional specialties, smoked trout, and cheese are served.
