About Ertel Cellars Winery
Tom Ertel established this family winery in 2006 on 200 acres near Batesville, though the vineyard itself dates to 1999. Brian Ahaus, who brought fifteen-plus years of winemaking experience to the program, has been winemaker since the beginning. The portfolio includes Marechal Foch, Vidal Blanc, Vignoles, Traminette, Steuben, Catawba, and Chambourcin. The winery also operates Ertel Cellars Winery Bistro. Part of the Indiana Wine Trail.
