About Ernst
Bernhard Ernst established his winery in Deutschkreutz in 2005, working 12 hectares in Mittelburgenland. The program converted to certified organic viticulture in 2020, with grapes carrying organic certification from the 2023 vintage onward. Ernst builds his portfolio around Blaufränkisch across three single-vineyard expressions, Fabian, Goldberg, and Hochberg. Zweigelt, Merlot, Syrah, and Grüner Veltliner round out the cellar, alongside the cuvées ZION and La Mission and Verjus. Sustainability certification arrived in 2019. Tastings are by reservation.
