About Ernesto Catena Vineyards
Ernesto Catena founded this Vista Flores estate in 2000, a fourth-generation winemaker who calls his approach the path of the artist. The farm is certified biodynamic, sitting in the Uco Valley at the foothills of the Andes, and most of the buildings draw on pre-Columbian architecture and Inca and Mayan traditions. Five lines come out of here, Siesta en el Tahuan, Ánimal Organic, Finca de los Padrillos, Tikal Natural, and AlmaNegra, with Malbec blends at the center. Visits are by appointment.
