About Domaine Pterion, LLC
Domaine Pterion sits on 60 acres in Macungie, Pennsylvania, where a farm first deeded in 1740 has become a working vineyard. Daniel and Elizabeth O'Rourke established the winery in 2014 on 15.7 acres, converting a renovated 1780s bank barn into the heart of production. The program specializes in dry European style wines. Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Franc Rosé are hand-harvested and fermented, aged, and bottled on-site. The tasting room opens Sundays from noon to five, with live music from one to four. Events accommodate up to 160 guests.
