About Domaine Haut-Blanville
Saint-Pargoire, Occitanie. Twenty-eight hectares, certified organic, spanning AOP Languedoc Grés de Montpellier and AOP Languedoc Pézenas appellations. Béatrice and Bernard Nivollet founded the domaine in 1997, the first estate of Maison Blanville. The wines reach more than 33 countries. In 2015, Charlotte and Margaux, daughters of the founders, joined the work. By 2021, the second generation had launched two cuvées, Les Créations and Domaine des Celtis. The Terroir des Peyrals carries 20 hectares of vines set within 40 hectares of garrigue. Sheep graze the vineyard rows. Sexual confusion is used here as a natural pest control method. HVE certification came in 2019, organic certification across all terroirs from the 2024 vintage. In 2022, Domaine des 8 Lunes was created in Roujan, farmed according to biodynamic principles. Guided visits run three hours, terroirs, cellars, tasting, by appointment from May to September.
