About Domaine des Roches Neuves
Domaine des Roches Neuves began in 1850 under the Duveau family in Varrains. Thierry and Marie Germain took over in 1991 and converted to organic farming in the late 1990s, then biodynamic practice in the early 2000s. The domain spans 61 parcels across 28 hectares. Cabernet Franc anchors the Saumur Champigny reds. Chenin forms the white wines under Saumur appellation. In 2012, the Germains acquired Clos de l'Echelier and Les Mémoires.
