About
Five generations of the Boiron family, working the same ground in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It started in 1860, when Emmanuel Boiron made the family's first vineyard investments. In 1936, Joseph created the entity Clos Chantemerle. Maurice followed, buying more than ten hectares and, in 1966, renaming the domain Bosquet des Papes. Under him the estate grew to 27 hectares of Châteauneuf du Pape. Since 1995, Nicolas, Maurice's son, has carried the work forward, adding 3 hectares of Côtes du Rhône vineyard and 4.5 hectares of Châteauneuf du Pape. He runs the estate today with his wife, Jeanne-Claire, from 18, route d'Orange.
