Clos du Mont-Olivet

About Clos du Mont-Olivet

Five generations of the Sabon family have shaped Clos du Mont-Olivet, a winery whose vineyard parcel traces back to 1547, when it was documented as 'ad montem oliveti'. The family's connection to the property began in the early twentieth century. Today, the work spans Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, and IGP regions. The portfolio includes Cuvée Tradition and Cuvée Classique in both blanc and rouge, alongside Cuvée du Papet Rouge. Since 2024, the entire vineyard has undergone organic conversion. The house practices replanting of endemic grape varieties, some extremely rare, and participates in creation of a grape variety conservatory.
