About

Dietl began in 1990 as an experiment, starting with 300 liters. Now in its second generation, Andrea and Andreas Kessler-Dietl lead the program alongside Franz Dietl. Andrea was named Hofheldin des Jahres, Farm Woman of the Year. All grapes come from Scheibelberg, a 7.5-hectare monopoly vineyard planted at 330 meters elevation on slopes reaching 48% steep. All grapes are harvested by hand. The bottles carry Franz Dietl's thumbprint, a mark of the house's identity.
