Conneaut Cellars Winery

About

Dr. Alan Wolf founded Conneaut Cellars in February 1982, releasing the first vintage in April 1983. The winery produces Whites, Reds, Roses, Specialty wines, and Ciders. In September 2013, the operation expanded with Conneaut Cellars Distillery, the first distillery in the Lake Erie Region of northwestern Pennsylvania since Prohibition. Wine tasting is free except for Specialty wines and distilled spirits. Free tours run daily at 11 a.m. and hourly from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., each lasting a minimum of 45 minutes. Group and bus tours require 30 days advance notice, with a nominal fee for parties of 12 or more. The facility is wheelchair accessible, with no stairs to the tasting room, gift shop, or cellar.
