About Clare Cellars
Clare Cellars draws its grapes from Dixit & Wakefield Vineyards in the Paso Robles Estrella District AVA. The program centers on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Sirah. The Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, ages for a minimum of twenty-two months in traditional French oak barrels. The 2019 Estate Reserve took Silver at the 2026 OC Fair Commercial Wine Competition. Earlier, the Cabernet Sauvignon earned Gold at the 2021 Orange County Fair and Silver from the 2021 Sunset Magazine Wine Competition. The tasting room welcomes dogs, offers food service, and provides Vineyard RV Stay accommodations, Chef On Demand service, and Taco Truck On Demand service.
