About Steinbeck Vineyards & Winery
Steinbeck Vineyards & Winery was founded in 1884 in Paso Robles. The Steinbeck family is the longest wine and vineyard involved family in San Luis Obispo County. Three hundred acres in the Geneseo District support a program across Viognier, Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah. The tasting room occupies a 1921-built blacksmith shop that has been renovated. Current releases include the 2021 Blanc de Blanc Sparkling, which won Best in Class at OCWS, along with the 2022 Viognier, 2020 The Crash Red Blend, 2020 Zinfandel, 2021 Merlot, 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2018 Petite Sirah. Vineyard tours depart in a 1958 Jeep Willy, guided by an owner. Two wine clubs, Crash and Voice, offer no-cost membership with tiered benefits, complimentary pickup parties, annual Jeep tours, and access to limited releases.
