Clandestin opened in 2010 on rue de la Valfère in Montpellier as a wine bar, cocktail bar, and tapas bar rolled into one. Forty wine references anchor the program. Live music runs five nights a week. Thursday brings jam sessions. Friday and Saturday nights feature piano bar concerts spanning soul, jazz, and latino. Sundays host improv theater, stand-up comedy, and concerts. The third Wednesday of each month is a piano blindtest challenge. Tuesdays mean karaoke. Planks and tapas are served Tuesday through Saturday, with happy hour from 6 PM to 8 PM.
