Roberto Cipresso was born in Bassano del Grappa in 1963 and brings over 35 years of winemaking experience to Cipresso Wines in Carmel. In 2000, he made wine for Pope John Paul II. Finca Altamira received 99/100 from Robert Parker and was named best Malbec in the world by Wine & Spirits in 2013. In 2018, Abbraccio was created and donated to Pope Francis I. The portfolio includes Areni Reserve, The 43rd Parallel Quadrilogy, Altrove, Rosso, Brunello di Montalcino, Finca Altamira, and Abbraccio.
