About Château Villerambert
Vineyard work here traces to 1231, when Pierre Vidal de Villerambert first planted vines on this land near the Via Domitia. The sixteenth-century château itself, built by the Vernon family, passed to the Juliens in 1858. Five generations have tended the property since, working the soil toward low yields and careful winemaking. The estate sits among dolmens and menhirs.
